- Canva University is on a mission to help each and every Canvanaut grow and develop in the skills that will help them to make a positive impact, by offering the most impactful learning experiences to all of our Canvanuats.- Our learning experiences are aligned to our 12 Skills Framework, which sets out the most important skills that every Canvanaut needs to thrive throughout their journey at Canva - skills across technical Craft, Strategy, Communication, Leadership and Coaching.- We're a team with a diverse range of skills who partner together to understand the learning needs of Canva and craft and deliver learning experiences. We are strategists, designers, teachers, facilitators, psychologists and doers. We craft instructor led and asynchronous learning to support every Canvanaut on their growth journey.- You'll join our diverse team to partner with our Engineering Leadership team and People Partners to understand the critical priorities, assess learning needs and build, embed and deliver our Engineering Learning strategy.- The role can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, with a preference for Sydney.**About you**:
- Build relationships with Engineering leaders and their teams, identify critical priorities, assess learning needs to build, embed and deliver our Engineering Learning strategy
- Partner with Engineering People Partners and wider People team to ensure the learning strategy is aligned to the People Group strategy
- Design Engineering learning pathways for intern programs, graduate programs, onboarding, and cross-skilling learning experiences that build the skills, knowledge and mindset Engineers need to thrive and achieve crazy big goals at Canva
- Continually assess and advise on educational needs for Engineers throughout all parts of their Canva journey
- Partner with the wider Canva University team to help to shape our core programs to meet the needs of our Engineering audience
- Identify, track and analyse key learning metrics and report these to key stakeholders
- Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops and group sessions, as well as train-the-trainer sessions, where needed
- Collaborate with other global Learning Partners to build consistency and alignment with how we deliver value to Canva
- Be creative in developing and recommending other technical solutions to improve the current Engineering curriculum
- Assist engineers and other stakeholders in writing documentation for learning purposes
- Identify any gaps in technical learning for our Engineering specialities
- Help scale learning and development within Engineering by supporting the team to leverage and teach each other
**What we're looking for**:
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders in order to understand critical priorities, business needs, determine performance gaps to create and execute a learning strategy and roadmap
- Experience crafting and delivering learning experiences that engage and build capability within Engineering teams
- Proven project management skills and experience rallying a wide range of stakeholders to deliver on a common goal
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, psychology & behavioural change, instructional design and learner centric design and bake this into all learning experiences
- Deep knowledge of learning evaluation and measurement frameworks, including an understanding of learning transfer
- Experience acting independently in an ambiguous environment
- Understanding of end to end talent lifecycle
- A background supporting Engineering teams in technology companies is preferred
