**Purpose of the role**
To implement and support the consistent and effective delivery of advice process and technology support for core technology and tools offered by AMP
**Main focus areas**
- Escalate issues as appropriate with Vendors and management
- Creation and amendments to user licenses across the software suite
- Provide feedback by appropriate means for enhancements to all software, based on feedback from planners, planner staff, and other areas
- Understand and ensure team and individual Service Level Agreements area met in all aspects of communication.
- Provide input and be committed to achieving team goals
- Be involved in project work where appropriate, particularly where beneficial to software improvements or planner experience
- provide induction support and ongoing training to enable advisers meet licensee requirements as required
- Ensure that all advice technology training is developed in line with advice and licensee guidelines
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and experience within Advice Technology
**Experience and qualifications required**
- Proven experience in a relevant role within the financial services industry
- Experience working with financial planning software, ideally Xplan
- Experience supporting technologies from a user perspective, specifically into financial planning businesses.
- Previous experience co-ordinating / supporting teams in distributed locations.
- Diploma Financial Services (DPF) or equivalent
**Job specific capabilities required**
- Sound understanding of the financial services industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex information across a wide audience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative and helpful manner with other team members.
- Understanding of financial planning and practice management technologies and business processes
- Understanding licensee and industry requirements
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify key issues and cause-effect relationships
- Strong attention to detail
