We wish to complement our existing team with a Safety Advisor within our Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services Business delivering road infrastructure projects across South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. This role is Monday to Friday and will be predominantly site based at various projects regionally around the state. The ability to travel and be away from home during the week is essential to this role.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Implementing, educating and driving awareness of safety procedures, policies, SWMS, and processes- Conduct audits, site inspections and walkthroughs- Assist with incident investigation, reports and recommending practical actions to prevent recurrences- Lead and actively participate in pre-start meetings and toolbox talks- Liaise and interact with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors in HSE deliverables- Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system- Support risk identification and management processes to improve worker risk awareness of work activities

How you'll connect to the role:
- Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety (minimum)- Minimum 5 years experience in the Civil Construction Industry- Valid drivers licence- A strong passion for delivering safety and educating risk awareness- Working knowledge of Traffic Management requirements and implementation- Knowledge of ICAM incident investigation methodology- Experience conducting safety audits and providing safety training- Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership- Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
