They specialize in developing and managing renewable energy projects, focusing on solar and battery technologies. As they continue to expand our portfolio, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join their team and drive their renewable projects to financial success.

**The Opportunity**

Playing a pivotal role in the company's renewable projects, the successfully appointed Project Financing Manager will focus on financial modeling and structuring financing for Solar and Battery initiatives.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial viability and profitability of our renewable projects you will be responsible for developing complex financial models, analyzing investment opportunities, and leading the financing process from inception to execution.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed financial models for solar and battery projects, including revenue forecasts, cost analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate project feasibility, risks, and returns on investment. Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the structuring of project financing, including debt and equity arrangements, tax equity financing, and other financial instruments.
- Collaborate with project development teams to assess the financial impact of project design, construction, and operation.
- Analyze market trends, regulatory policies, and economic factors affecting renewable energy investments.
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key partners to secure funding for projects.

**Selection Criteria**
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar position in the Renewable Energy sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, specialized renewable energy modeling tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Solar & Battery technologies, project economics and industry trends.
- Proven experience in structuring financing for renewable energy projects, including familiarity with tax credits, incentives, and grants.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with financial partners and investors.
- Previous experience working with major lenders in Australia.
- Familiar with Australian PPA environment and stakeholders.
