**Role Description/Criteria**

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

The Operations Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational matters and long-term planning within the Campus. While the role involves specific duties at the Rosebud/Tyabb Campus, the Operations Leader is required to liaise with the Director of College Logistics and Operations, the Directors of Campus and report to the Vice Principal - Staff for operational, planning and timetabling. The Operations Leader ensures that operational practices on the Campus are consistent with the ethos of the College and to the whole College approach to operations.

The Operations Leader assists the College Improvement Team in the planning, facilitation, and management of resources on the campus, which support the effective implementation of the College’s Educational Strategic Plan.

The Operations Leader in conjunction with the Director of Campus ensures that the Campus is operating effectively so that student learning and pastoral opportunities are optimized.

The Operations Leader reports to the Vice Principal - Staff via the Directors of Campus and the Director of College Logistics and Operations.

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

The responsibilities of the Operations Leader include but are not limited to:
i. Coordinating the process for covering daily teacher replacements for classes and yard duties;
ii. Coordinating the Tyabb or Rosebud Campus operations;
iii. Constructing teacher and student timetables for the campus;
iv. Facilitating the planning and effective management of resources for the campus; and

vi. Performing other day-to-day duties as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.
