As a Team Leader of Business Analysts, you will oversee the direction of a Business Analysis area of a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from Infrastructure upgrades, Cloud migrations, to Business Applications. You will lead and develop individuals and teams to achieve goals and deliver quality solutions and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.-
- Establish clear objectives and performance metrics for the team, aligning with organizational goals.-
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of business analysts.-
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous growth and improvement.-
- Capability Development:
- Champion the development and implementation of business analysis best practices, tools, and methodologies.-
- Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team, creating development plans to address them.-
- Strategic Alignment & Portfolio Delivery:
- Enable the team in delivering high-quality business analysis services across multiple projects or portfolios.-
- Oversee the quality of business analysis deliverables delivered by the team.-
- Ensure that team is aligned with the expectation of delivering business analysis outputs as per the respective project timelines, budgets, and strategic outcomes.-
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Act as a key liaison between business analysts and stakeholders across various levels of the organization.-
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on team performance, project progress, and business analysis outcomes.-
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the business analysis team to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and increase the value delivered to the organization.-
- Stay updated on emerging trends and innovations in business analysis and technology to introduce new approaches or tools.-
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all business analysis activities adhere to organizational governance standards and compliance requirements.-
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes, requirements, and solutions to facilitate audits, knowledge sharing, and process continuity. Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.- Extensive experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of leading successful business analysis projects.- Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to manage and develop teams.- Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a preferred.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
