**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Team Leader would be responsible for:

- Monitoring customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, irregularities
- Processing EFT receipts from customers in Oracle.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries.
- Liaise with customers on overdue debt
- Investigate unallocated payments
- Calculate and record Accruals for claims not processed.
- Month-end reconciliations and closures
- Prepare credit reports to HQ.
- Supervise the work of the Accounts Receivable Officer and provide support
- Supervise customer credit / claims process
- Assisting the Head of Finance in ensuring internal controls are being met

**Preferred Experience**:
The successful applicant ideally will have:

- 5+ years in AR with some leadership experience
- Ability to work autonomously & drive standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation & rapport building
- Proven ability to manage/coach/lead staff
- Strong planning & time management
