**About the Role**:
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a pivotal role in executing our inventory strategy by combining replenishment, supply, and demand planning into a seamless process.

Your work will ensure inventory levels meet demand forecasts while optimizing stock turnover and minimizing excess inventory.
- This role is a 12-month contract based in our National Support Office in Burnley. _

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse market trends and historical data to forecast product demand
- Collaborate with merchandise, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Review and approve purchase orders and store replenishment recommendations
- Manage purchase orders and supplier performance
- Act as a key liaison between merchandising roles for inventory efficiency
- Prepare and present stock performance reports
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives

You are an analytical, outcome driven problem solver who is flexible and adaptable in their approach and possesses excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

**You’ll need**:

- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Understanding of merchandise strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory management within a retail setting
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Experience with planning tools or systems (Blue Yonder is preferred)
