**About the team**:
Coles Express makes people’s lives easier. Whether our customers are filling up with fuel, grabbing a snack-to-go or dropping by for essentials, our team is there when and where Aussies need us.

**About the role**:
As a result of a number of internal moves, we are currently looking for exceptional Supply & Demand Planner’s to join our Coles Express team. In the initial phase, you’ll work closely with the Express Supply Chain team to support the establishment of processes, systems and relationships as part of the transition of Express from Coles Group to Viva Energy.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll coordinate the supply, demand and replenishment of all goods to stores for Express directly managed suppliers, business partnering closely with Merchandise Category, Operations, and Coles teams to plan and coordinate replenishment requirements and support business initiatives.

You’ll also:

- Manage replenishment plans and alerts, ensuring that stock flow support availability, stock, and waste outcomes
- Manage relationships with Coles and Direct to Store suppliers to drive optimum service levels and maximise availability in stores
- Continuously review and support w/ implementing replenishment opportunities to drive optimum service levels, availability and reduce operating costs end to end
- Analyse and report on ad hoc and structured cost, identify cost efficiencies
- Ensure accurate and timeline forecasts, product orders and reporting for your designated regions

**About you and your skills**:
You will have proven experience in a supply chain or logistics role, and preferably have exposure to planning or inventory management.

You’ll also need:

- knowledge of retail industry and FMCG, coupled with implementing retail event project plans
- comfort with statistics, forecasting and replenishment methods
- advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across all levels and functions, as well as external suppliers
- a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
