**Your new company**
Within an APS Department, this division works to foster engagement among Australian universities, Australian businesses, and the investment market to drive outcomes for the Australian community. They oversee research policy, funding, and programs, with a particular focus on upskilling and driving innovation among the university community.

**Your new role**
Within this new role as an APS5 Data Analyst, you will need to provide strategic analysis of Higher Education data to support policy and program outcomes. The position requires a team oriented and highly motivated individual who can work under general direction with high levels of organisational skills. Your primary responsibilities are:

- Support publication of sector wide demand and assessments in partnership with external Partners
- Support delivery of verified higher education data
- Operate the Tertiary Collection of Student Information system to ensure the production of timely data for internal decision makers and external partners
- Oversight of data system build, optimisation, and/or remediation work

**What you'll get in return**
This position will be available as an initial 12-month non-going contract with a possible 6-month extension.

The position is located in North Canberra with close access to shops, cafes, and bars.

You will receive an attractive hourly rate inclusive of causal loading.
