We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter (General) to join our team in Carrum Downs.

We provide a complete manufacturing service including laser cutting, folding, welding, assembly & powder coating all in house from our premises.

**To secure this role, you must be able to meet the following requirements**:

- **Reading drawings and instructions**: You’ll need to interpret basic technical drawings and fabrication instructions accurately.
- **Precision measuring**: Checking the dimensions and fit of parts will require knowledge of precision tools
- **General fabrication knowledge**: This includes hands-on experience with tools like drills, saws, and a stamping press for shaping and assembling metal.
- **Press Brake & Laser Cutting**: Familiarity with these machines is a plus
- **Workshop safety**: Contributing to a safe environment means being mindful of procedures and safety protocols,
- **Forklift license**: Being able to operate a forklift is crucial for this position

Pay: $35.00 - $67.79 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
