Our host is a global manufacturing company that supplies to the printing, packaging and labeling industries worldwide. They are currently looking for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year apprentice to take on.

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training organisation who employs apprentices and trainees the places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program by way of regular visits to your workplace and TAFE.

**Your duties may include**:

- Operate and adjust production machines
- Run diagnostic checks, and troubleshoot to identify problems in production
- Design new components and systems using CAD/CAM systems
- Repair machines and build components in repair of facilities
- Use programs to monitor machine processes and performance
- Perform changeovers/setups, preventative maintenance, and fault finding
- Examine and evaluate specifications for the requirements for a task
- Operate and adjust machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
- Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies

Desirable Requirements:

- Minimum year 11 schooling
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Positive approach to workplace safety

Mandatory Requirements:

- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
