**We are seeking to establish a Pool** **of Visitor Service Officers to fill vacancies that may arise within the next 18 months for casual, fixed-term, part-time, full-time, or permanent opportunities at the**WA Maritime Museum, Fremantle.**

**We currently have** **two (2)x** **Permanent** **full-time** **vacancies available**for immediate** filling**.**

**About the role**

The Visitor Services Officers (VSO's) provide a welcoming environment and high-quality experience for Museum visitors. They help to ensure the safety of visitors and staff within the Museum, as well as the security of the Museum Collection.

**About you**

We are seeking dynamic, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a positive team environment and delivering high quality customer service.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

- Provide a high level of visitor engagement including conducting tours, use of technology, and interpretive programs.
- Process admission sales and support retail activities.
- Support public events and functions through either the event set-up, and/or pack down, and through guided tours.
- Provide a high standard of security and safety of visitors and the Museum precinct.

**Eligibility to Apply**

This Pool will be open for a period of **18 months** from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. **Permanent, fixed term, full time, part time and casual appointments** may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.

Applicants found suitable in this Pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies with the WA Museum.
