Duties of a Mobile Patrol Guard

Break-ins are more common in Australia than we might like to think. Whilst not all the business’ need 24/7 security presence, mobile patrol officers provide a peace of mind for your assets.

By patrolling your business premises or private home regularly, mobile patrol officers deter potential break-ins and/or destruction of property.

**Key responsibilities that make mobile patrol security officers crucial in protecting our assets**:
**Parking Infringements**:
Like wheel clamping, parking infringements help in deterring the public from parking illegally in private parking spots.

**Traffic Control**:
Mobile patrol officers can help in allowing certain traffic or machinery to pass through.

**Detain & Arrest**:
All members of the public can make a citizen’s arrest, however as a guard they are trained in completing contemporaneous notes and necessary reports of the circumstances.

**Staff Escorts**:
Staff escorts are an in demand service which we supply. Our mobile patrollers help your staff enter or leave your building feeling safe and comfortable.

**Alarm Response**:
Alarm responses are one of the major things a mobile patroller has to do, he/ she needs to be very responsive and alert to make sure the alarm is responded in due time. He/ She needs to tweak his daily schedule to fit the daily runsheet.

**Inspection**:
Not only do mobile patrol officers conduct external and internal building inspections, they also check in with the static guards and crowd controllers at their respective sites. This is for the safety of our guards as well as quality assurance for our clients.
