**About the role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Provider Integrity team as a Claims Assessor on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for the end to end processing of Private Health Insurance claims including data entry, monitoring, reviewing and verifying whilst ensuring they comply with fund and business rules and individual contracts. The role also includes following up and liaising with members regarding claims as well as other internal departments as required.

**About you**
Ideally, you will have an understanding and working knowledge health insurance and the regulatory requirements coupled with strong analytical skills. Alternatively, you may have experience working with a healthcare provider, hospital administration or medical practice and are willing to learn more about claims processing.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- superb data entry accuracy with an ability to analyse information to ensure compliance with health industry standards and contracts,
- excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- strong attention to detail whilst working to required service standards
- robust understanding of the importance of customer service,
- a focus on quality and risk management, and
- self-motivation but also able to work as part of a small team.
Previous health insurance experience is highly desirable, previous relevant healthcare industry experience and/or experience in data entry and customer service with willingness to learn health insurance.
