The Assistant Director, Financial Management is responsible for managing the day-to-day provision of financial management services. This involves the provision of accurate and high-level advice, to employees and other stakeholders, on a range of budgetary, accounting, governance and other financial matter as well as the development of policies and guidelines to comply with the _Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. _The role is responsible for the administration of the department’s Financial Management Information System, Technology One and integrated systems.

The occupant of this position also leads and manages relevant budget and finance-related projects and represents the department at conferences, forums and other meetings on topics relevant to financial management.

The Assistant Director, Financial Management provides financial services to the Parliamentary Budget Office to the standards and within the timeframes articulated in the memorandum of understanding.
