**About the role**:
Downer is a leading provider of integrated facilities services across Australia and New Zealand. We are currently seeking a skilled **Fire Services Technician**to join our Health & Education team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This role involves providing maintenance and repair services to various assets, including both preventative and reactive tasks related to Mechanical fire protection systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain, repair, and install Mechanical fire protection systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in Mechanical fire protection systems.
- Conduct scheduled servicing and performance testing on Mechanical fire protection systems.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow all safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with AS1851 standards and work within required safety frameworks.
- Assist the HVAC team with daily operations as needed.

**About you**:

- Certificate III in Electro technology, HVAC, or a South Australian Electrical Licence.
- Experience working with AS1851 standards and fire system maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with fire safety systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and safety.
