Field Technician

**Position: Field Technician (Test & Tag)**

We are looking for an independent, self-driven, and motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge. We invite individuals to become part of our team as **field technicians (test & tag)** in Adelaide SA. Your primary responsibility is to follow the scheduled routing each day and complete electrical testing (test & tag). Training will be provided as part of the onboarding.

**About the role**

As a field technician (test & tag), you will operate both autonomously and as part of a dynamic team, delivering world-class safety compliance, inspection, and test and tag services on a range of plants, equipment, tools, and appliances to identify defects and potential electrical hazards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our client’s equipment and workplace. Applications from females highly encouraged.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Uphold the ARA safety standards and publicly represent ARA and our clients in a professional manner.
- Perform electrical safety compliance inspections (testing and tagging and/or RCD testing) as required per your assigned schedule within the given timeframe.
- Identify any defective equipment, recording and labelling faulty equipment.
- Understand and ensure efficiency targets are met.
- Record all work completed on site along with any defects identified.
- Support and assist the supervisor with additional duties as required.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the operations team.

**What you need**

You are anticipated to exhibit self-motivation and a profound comprehension of the significance of safety and compliance to the clients. Exhibit a customer-centric approach by being well-organised and well-represented on the client's site or location, maintaining professional conduct, and communicating clearly.
- The ability to obtain a test and tag certification is crucial.
- Current valid drivers license (essential)
- Current police check (essential)
- Previous experience in Electrical Test and Tag (desirable)
- White card (desirable)
- Physically fit to perform the role
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail are required.
- Ready to learn and enjoy working independently and autonomously
- On time, reliable, punctual, and able to meet strict deadlines
- Flexible and comfortable with daily travel
