**The Role**
As an APS6 Governance Officer you will exercise a high level of autonomy to deliver on competing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Your role will provide support to senior executives in managing and coordinating high quality and timely executive, ministerial and parliamentary communication products. You will also support your senior executive team through the governance of group level corporate planning and performance activities to maintain a strategic alignment with the Defence enterprise planning.

**About our Team**
The Group Coordination teams across ADFHQ, and DPG provide high quality advice and information to support Senior Executives, Ministers, Parliament and Cabinet in a timely manner.
- Planning/managing corporate performance, risk and business continuity
- Coordinating and drafting Ministerial and Parliamentary advice/communications
- Secretariat management and support for senior leadership committees

The teams consist of members that thrive in fast-paced environments with a thirst for complex problem solving and knowledge building. Successful members of this team develop and maintain effectively candid relationships with their peers in other coordination teams through a customer service approach to collaboration.
