**About your new role**:
We are urgently seeking two dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Gracehaven site in Rockingham & David Buttfield Centre in Gwelup. In this hands-on role, you will be the go-to person for all things maintenance, from fixing leaky faucets to managing site maintenance programs. You'll work closely with our amazing team and external contractors to ensure everything runs smoothly.

**Duties**:not limited to
- Manage site maintenance programs including preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance.
- Ensure safe work practices in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks, including painting and manual handling of deliveries.
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members and external contractors.
- Assist in onboarding and supervising external contractors.
- Perform other duties as required, including working from alternative locations.

**Working Hours and Shift Patterns**:
**Gracehaven**: Permanent Part Time Position. Total hours per fortnight is 60.8 hours with flexibility of days working (weekdays) to suit your lifestyle.

**David Buttfield Centre**: Permanent Full Time or Part Time Position tailored to fit your lifestyle.

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**
- Trade or tertiary qualification
- Previous maintenance/handyman/gardening experience
- Basic competency in painting
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Knowledge of current Aged Care Standards & OSH regulations.
- Empathy, flexibility and patience with aged people and their needs
- You have a hands-on approach with a "can do attitude"
- Confidence using hand power tools including Lawn and Gardening tools
- Valid driver’s licence.

**Desirable**
- Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment
- Current first aid certificate
- Experience in a values-based organisation and supporting change management.
