**Your new company**:
With over 25 years, our client has been behind some of the best civil construction projects in Melbourne and across Victoria, from bridges and overpass construction to major power and water infrastructure projects.**Your new role**:
Exciting opportunity for a experienced Payroll Officer to join the team This role will require great people and relationship skills to both internal and external stakeholders.**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Time Sheets
- Follow up staff and clients to correctly fill in data entry
- Reconcile customer PO to SAP Sales Order (SO)
- Manage Payments and match to Progress Claims
- Effective business partnering with HR, Operations, IT and Finance where required
- Assist Payables, HR/Office Manager and Director's as required
- Filing and general accounts administration
- Proofing and Correcting documents

**Skills & Experience**:

- A passion for people and building culture
- Deliver high-quality work, while adhering to timelines
- Great verbal communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lead teams, mentor and motivate individuals
- Excellent understanding of financial processes, payroll experience will be highly regarded
- A self starter, be able to manage your own day
- Pro-active leader who can deliver high quality of service
- Hold leadership accountable to best practices

**What you'll get in return**:

- Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar role,
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starting and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a can do attitude
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience working in the Construction industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent IT skills with Vista
- Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
