**Your Role at Nextt**:
As a disability support worker at Nextt, you'll be at the forefront of organising and implementing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, domestic assistance, and facilitating community access.

**Exciting Opportunity in Alexandra Hills**:
We're excited to offer a rewarding position in the
**Alexandra Hills **region of Brisbane for a
**Female **Disability Support Worker in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) residence.

This is a
**Part Time **position offering 53 hours, with 3 sleepovers, every fortnight.

Week 1:

- Tuesday 1700 PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Wednesday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Thursday 1700 PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Friday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Week 2:

- Tuesday 9:00 AM to 1700 PM
- Wednesday 1700PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Thursday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Friday 10:00 AM to 1700 PM
- Saturday 10:00 AM to 1600 PM
- Sunday 9:00 AM to 1700 PM

**_Please note that commitment to the entire fortnightly roster for this position is required._**

**About You**:
As a support worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with Personal Care.
- Providing Domestic Assistance.
- Facilitating Community Access.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work.
- Experience with clients possessing a Positive Behavior Support Plan and Challenging Behaviors is highly regarded.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:
Our client resides independently and receives 1:1 support, and you'll receive training in the client's Positive Behavior Support Plan as well as all relevant compliance training and module inductions. Your role involves performing various tasks, including domestic duties, motivating clients, administering medications, using your car for transportation, collaborating with managers, and ensuring positive outcomes.

**Your Certificates and Licences**:
To excel at Nextt, you'll need the following:

- NDIS worker screening check (yellow card) - **applied or current**.
- Working with children check (blue card) - **applied or current**.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- A QLD driver's license and your own fully insured vehicle.
- Adherence to all mandatory directives as mandated within your relevant state or territory.
