Disability Support Worker

**Disability Support Workers**
Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association Inc. is a not-for-profit disability support service provider with our main office in Redland Bay, QLD. We are a small organisation that provides both community participation and supported independent living for intellectually and physically challenged individuals.

**Duties**

Support workers are required to help the client live as independently as possible by assisting her with activities of daily living including personal care needs, assistance with medication, preparation of meals and household tasks.

Support workers must be comfortable with PEG feeding, using hoists and manual handling. Training will be provided.

The role requires the support worker to work closely with families and allied health professionals.

**Requirements**:

- Cert III in Disability or relevant qualification
- Experience meeting the needs of individuals with complex needs.
- Current First Aid certificate and current CPR
- Open Drivers licence with own vehicle
- Smart mobile phone
- Current Disability Worker Screening Clearance Card.
- Australian or NZ citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia
- Be available to work nights/weekends/days as rostered.
