Communications and Marketing, within Strategic Communications, is a multidisciplinary team that leads dynamic communication and engagement solutions targeting diverse Queensland audiences. The team provides strategic advice and leadership that supports the government's priorities and leads best-practice approach around whole-of-government communication, brand identity and channel management.
Your Opportunity

**As the Manager, Communications and Marketing, you will**:

- Lead the development and delivery of communication strategies, campaigns and materials for major projects and initiatives.
- Deliver effective and engaging communication, including internal, online and digital communication and engagement strategies that engage with diverse audiences and support the department and whole of government agenda.
- Lead strategic advice on integrated communication strategies, functions including internal communication, social media and corporate identity, whole-of-Government communication policies and guidelines ensuring advice is practical, evidence-based and reflects best practice.
- Build and maintain effective work relationships with internal clients and stakeholders and Queensland Government agencies including leading and representing the department on cross-agency working groups.
- Manage workload, people, risks and deadlines of a team responsible for management of multiple client accounts, ensuring the provision of high-quality communication advice and services to clients.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement systems and processes to ensure a high standard of output and client service from the team.
- Lead continuous improvement and anticipate emerging technologies to recognise internal and external communication opportunities and solutions to enhance performance, team output and service delivery.
