About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide senior level, expert procurement and contract advice and consultancy services to managers and staff of West Moreton Health in support of the delivery of the West Moreton Health (WMH) strategic procurement function. The role manages significant and complex procurement and contract activities and works collaboratively with the business to improve procurement and contract management across the Health Service.
About you
- Ability to provide complex, high-level advice and support to operational leaders and take the lead on complex procurement projects in accordance with established Queensland Government Project Strategic Procurement Guidelines and industry best practice.
- Significant negotiation skills in sensitive and high-risk scenarios and the ability to use negotiation to drive benefits delivery.
- Highly developed verbal communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders in pursuit of efficiencies and effective service outcomes.
- Experience in procurement governance frameworks, tools and templates and business process methodologies that support streamlined end-to-end processes.
- Ability to drive benefits delivery through negotiation and sourcing initiatives.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
