**Description**:
Public sector specialists Osborne Richardson are partnering with a reputable State Government utility to source a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities within a vital public service sector on an initial 3-month contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop procurement portfolios plans.
- Autonomously lead end-to-end procurement activities.
- Execute sourcing activities with proficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes and strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in leading and developing procurement portfolios plans.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously lead end-to-end procurement activities.
- Proficiency in sourcing activities with a generalist approach.
- Preference for experience in corporate services procurement.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant procurement software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
