**About the role**

As the Engineering Maintenance Team Manager your role will be to work across both our Melbourne & Sydney sites to to plan and execute preventative maintenance and strategic engineering initiatives with an aim to continuously improve our operations in collaboration with the senior management teams on each site.

You will have a team in each location and give direction on optimisation of and performance of the facilities and MHE Automation.

**You will**:
- Have day to day management of a team across both Sydney and Melbourne sites- Work closely with inbound and outbound and other support teams to ensure efficient direction of activities, including planned maintenance and support engineering services to the operational team- Manage and develop our Australian processes, with a focus on continuous improvement- Report, monitor and analyse data from our automation tech to best advise maintenance activities- Govern the maintenance processes and procedures and CMMS for global OPS MHE- Manage communications to all sites around engineering activities- Oversee compliance with both sites- Liaise with the Senior Engineering Operations Manager on each site to ensure best practices are being followed- Work closely across two sites Melbourne and Sydney - you can be based in either but will require travel between the two of approx 1 week per month, as required

**About you**- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, in either a Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field- A strong track record in team leadership, and ability to give strategic direction on Engineering activities- Excellent communication skills to both lead a team focused on improvement, but also to influence stakeholders internal and external- Experience in preventative maintenance life cycles from development to delivery- Exposure, knowledge or strong interest in automation
