Data Migration Specialist, Anz

MUFG Corporate Markets is seeking an experienced **Data Migration Specialist **to support the delivery of critical data migration activities across strategic initiatives and new client projects. This senior role will combine both developer and analyst responsibilities, with a focus on extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes within a complex, fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong technical background, particularly in **Informatica **, **Oracle **, and **SQL **, to contribute to our technology roadmap and ensure successful outcomes in a collaborative, client-focused setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Focus**:

- Support the delivery of the Corporate Markets technology roadmap and strategic programs.
- Manage and deliver data migration activities for new client wins and allocated projects.

**Operational Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and enhance proficiency in ETL processes across multiple platforms.
- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of migration-related tasks, while keeping documentation updated.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Validate and reconcile data through all migration stages, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

**Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the Technology team.
- Share knowledge of industry developments and contribute to improving data migration processes and practices.
- Foster strong working relationships across business functions to support the achievement of broader organizational objectives.

**Governance & Risk**:

- Adhere to project and operational frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security policies and maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Demonstrated experience in delivering successful **Data Migration **solutions across complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of **Informatica **, **Oracle **, **SQL **, and related technologies.
- Proven experience with **ETL processes **, database management, and migration projects.
- A background in **financial services **, with familiarity with Share Registry business principles (both listed and unlisted).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working within the **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) **and a good understanding of database architecture and data management principles.
