We pride ourselves on offering quality products and friendly service. As our Retail Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining high standards across all areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stock and Inventory Management**: Maintain optimal stock levels, manage supplier orders, monitor expiry dates, and reduce waste to ensure product freshness and availability.
- **Customer Service Leadership**: Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service, handle enquiries and complaints professionally, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- **Sales and Promotions**: Increase sales through effective merchandising, promotional planning, and upselling techniques.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and store performance for reporting and operational decision-making.
- **Budgeting and Profitability**: Assist with budgeting, monitor store expenses, and contribute to strategies that support business growth and profitability.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise, train, and develop staff, fostering a motivated, high-performing team committed to excellence.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

**To Be Successful, You Will Have**:

- A Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally in a fresh food or grocery setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, sales techniques, and financial planning.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
