A little bit about the role
Leading the Corporate Information function the Coordinator Corporate Information is responsible for setting the strategic direction for managing our corporate information with a particular focus on Public Records Management, and a shift to digital record keeping.
The role defines the Council standards for records management, ensuring both alignment with the standards set by the Public Record Office Victoria and fit for purpose to meet the needs of Council.
As an experienced knowledge management professional you will facilitate the capture, storage and sharing of Corporate Information and actively promote sound Records Management practices throughout Council. You will develop and maintain the strategy, policy, standards and procedures for whole-of-life management of electronic and hardcopy records consistent with Public Records Office Victoria.
You will lead by example, coaching and supporting a diverse and committed team to deliver high quality information management services to the organisation.
