About the role
We are transforming, moving to a cloud first model, modernising and simplifying and you can be part of that We’re migrating our Business Intelligence and Analytics systems to the cloud (Power BI Premium Service) and embedding a self-service model. This is an exciting opportunity as you’ll work with motivated business users, get rewarding business engagement opportunities whilst empowering users to use the tool to add value to their work and the bank.
**In this role you’ll get to**:
Deploy, Support and maintain our Power BI platform.
Develop the self-service patterns for workspaces, datasets and pipelines
Maintain and facilitate the migration of legacy content to the new cloud platform.
Work closely with business users who are looking forward to working with this tool to encourage a self-service model by educating them to user the tool effectively whilst ensuring best practices and policy is adhered to.
You will get the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, whilst also having access to learning and development platforms plus the opportunity to get certified in cloud technologies. We offer a hybrid and flexible ways of working. This role can be based anywhere in Australia near one of our locations.
About you
Previous experience with Power BI (ideally Power BI Premium Service) - You’ll have experience supporting the platform technically whilst also being able to develop and create dashboards to educate business users.
Database query experience such as SQL Server, Oracle and NoSQL.
If you’ve had migration experience such as moving legacy data to cloud platforms this will be looked upon favourably
Ability to deploy data workloads and as code with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
Work with Practice Architects to understand and implement the bank’s cloud strategy.
You’ll be able to plan and prioritise your work so you can support and maintain the platform whilst engaging business stakeholders, educate and support them to use Power BI.
