Liquidity Analyst Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team with day-to-day measurement, analysis and reporting of our liquidity position and regulatory reporting requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.
  • Involved in all aspects of developing and enhancing our quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise benefits for all areas of our organisation.
  • Data Analysis - Liquidity data mining and data analysis
  • Support other team functions including system architecture and design, data within systems and data extraction and utilization

Position: Liquidity Analyst

This is a permanent full-time position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our corporate office.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Actuarial Science is preferred &/or 2-3 years of relevant banking experience
  • Proficiency in coding, with R and/or SQL advantageous
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in a wide variety of Excel functions, building complex formulas and the use of multi-sheet and multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded
  • Knowledge of APS 210 Liquidity highly regarded.
  • Quantitative analytical capability highly regarded.
  • Previous Treasury experience highly regarded, especially Liquidity Risk
  • Team player, curious, with a collaboration approach and drive to learn and grow
