Alexandria, Australia Carma Full time

**Description**:
At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.

Do you have experience in repairing vehicles? Maybe you’ve worked in a paint and panel shop, started a trade or just love working with cars and want to move off the tools? This is the role for you As a **Junior Vehicle Repair Specialist**, you’ll work closely with our Senior Vehicle Repair Specialist when it comes to advising on repair methods for Carma cars, after they have gone through the inspection process, and creating their journey to becoming a customer car.

**What you'll be doing?**:

- Review vehicle inspection reports and recommend the right repair methods and costs — from paint and panel damage to interior wear and mechanical repairs, you'll help decide what’s needed to bring each car up to scratch.
- Work closely with the inspection crew to build accurate work orders using our in-house systems.
- Communicate effectively with repair teams (mechanical, paint, panel etc.) to make sure that everyone’s on the same page and repairs are carried out as planned.
- Keep an eye on the numbers — tracking repair costs, labour time, and making sure everything stays within budget.

**Okay, let’s talk about you**:

- You’ve got solid experience in vehicle repairs — maybe you’re a panel beater, spray painter, or mechanic who’s stepped away from the tools, or you’ve built up broad repair knowledge without a formal trade.
- You’re comfortable using tech (especially MacBooks) and can get the hang of new systems quickly.
- You’re organised, calm under pressure, and able to juggle tasks when things move fast or plans change.
- You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and take pride in high-quality work.
- You’re a clear communicator and a great team player.
- You have a valid NSW drivers licence.

**What's in it for you?**:

- Join a growing company with fantastic training and progression opportunities — grow with us
- We love social events, from parties to go-karting and bake sales, there’s something for everyone.
- Score amazing deals on cars, finance options and other car parts, we’re a car company after all

At Carma, we’re all about fostering an amazing culture, where you can bring your best self to work We value collaboration, innovation and having a laugh at work. Plus, we’re committed to diversity, inclusion and safe work practices, so no matter your background or experience (or car brand of choice) we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
