The fitter at Carma is responsible for disassembling and fitting vehicle panels and parts to Carma standards to facilitate cosmetic repairs. This role will play a key part in ensuring that all targets are met and quality standards are adhered to at all times.

**How you'll do it**:

- Prepare vehicles for repairs including removal and disassembling of panels and parts
- Re-fitting and assembling vehicles after repairs have been completed to ensure cars are finished to Carma standards
- Accurately updating the internal system (Field Services) with work orders and job details, additionally showing accuracy when clocking on and off jobs inside the system.
- Checking vehicle functionality and quality standards are met after work has been completed
- Work closely with the painters and team lead to advise on accurate job timings to aid with scheduling work
- Support in coaching and guiding junior members of the team, and apprentices when applicable
- Problem-solving, identifying and suggesting solutions to help drive efficiencies and

**What you'll bring**:

- 3 years in automotive fitting and/or panel beating
- Ability to work in a busy environment with multiple, changing priorities
- High attention to detail and a focus on the quality of work
- Ability to work within time cycles
- Qualification in a relevant field would be beneficial, but not essential
- Tech savvy, able to navigate different systems and adapt to new systems. Previous experience with Apple products and any DMS system would be beneficial
- Clean NSW Driver License

Pay: From $74,000.00 per year
