About the role

Opera Australia’s success is made possible by the passion and generosity of their community including business partners, audiences and private supporters. The company now seeks a Philanthropy Manager who, as part of the Development Leadership team, will manage and grow Opera Australia’s philanthropic giving programs in Sydney, including the Sydney Patrons Program, the EOFY appeal and other initiatives strategies and activities that will serve to increase and diversify the donor base.

Opera Australia looks forward to hearing from creative, motivated and customer-service orientated professionals with experience in a high level donor relations role and superior relationship management skills, gained in the not for profit environment. Experience managing a membership program or direct marketing campaign will be highly regarded. A passion for the work of Opera Australia and an appreciation for the role the company plays in the broader cultural sector in Australia will be fundamental.
