**What you’ll do**

As the Facilities Services Manager you will be responsible for the availability and compliance of all facilities, utilities, and services at the North Ryde site. Your responsibilities will include:

- Negotiate, execute, and manage contracted services across portfolio of responsibility
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of facilities management practices and standards
- Lead or participate in investigations (SHE, quality or other) as required and in accordance with site procedures and policies.
- Manage Facility Services SLAs including scope of works and performance reviews
- Ensure the execution of facility and services maintenance and improvement works are carried out in conjunction with the appropriate internal forms, policies, and procedures, and meet all organisational, quality and safety requirements and applicable statutory standards
- Develops and maintains risk management and business continuity plans for the facilities and service group
- Assist in developing and maintaining in developing a training and development plan to maintain the necessary skills flexibility with the team.
- Identify improvement opportunities in line with SHE targets and programs
- Actively drive improvement in Site quality standards with regard to facilities.
- Identify and implements cost saving initiatives to further improve financial performance of area of responsibility

**Essential for the role**
- Degree qualifications in Engineering
- Pharmaceutical/FMCG or Medical industry experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the asset management techniques.
- High level negotiation and contract management skills
- Broad knowledge of Environmental standards and other regulations relating to frontline services and the supported functions. Understanding of Maintenance management principles
- Proven successes in building strong external and internal relationships
- Effective communication, influencing and networking skills
- Drive to be a self-starter, with confidence in your personal presentation and the ability to make a positive impact

**Desirable for the role**
- Strong knowledge of TGA requirements and International cGMPs
- Knowledge of Sterile Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of critical services within sterile manufacturing
