**The Role**
Ventia are seeking an experienced **Materials Coordinator** to work on our Chevron contract. This is a full-time permanent position working on a 2:2 roster.

This role will be responsible for understanding all aspects of material status from specifications, quality requirements, purchasing, delivery, storage, final receipting, consumption and where required, the returns process.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Develop strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers to understand material commitments.
- Manage demand planning and tracking to monitor and deliver materials for individual work scopes and core maintenance.
- Pre shutdown, execution and post shutdown activities, campaign maintenance and tech Projects.
- Understand planning logic for each specific job operation to ensure material requirements are understood and match the timing required.
- Strong emphasis on field verification of staging and provisioning, and assurance checking of all other preparation activities.
- Report and monitor shutdown materials KPI’s for area of responsibility


**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience as a Field Maintenance Technician
- Quality assurance role within the industry, with 5+ years’ experience preferably within the Oil and Gas sector.
- The ability to work alone or in a team environment and can drive a positive and proactive safety culture within the workplace.
- Experience with the provisioning of scopes and the understanding of contract and procurement processes.
- Understanding of planning, scheduling and execution of scope and creating a reporting structure to support those processes.
- Analytical / problem solving and decision-making skills with a proven ability to work in pressure situations.
