**About the Opportunity**
We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised **Materials & Logistics Coordinator** to support offshore operations across Southeast Asia. This key role acts as the central point of contact between suppliers, project teams, offshore logistics, and internal departments, ensuring seamless coordination, delivery, and compliance.

You will play a critical part in managing the movement of equipment and materials in high-risk, time-sensitive environments while also driving internal improvements in procurement and logistics processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Materials & Logistics Operations**
- Plan, organise, and implement all materials and logistics activities in line with ICON Management System Procedures.
- Manage purchase orders and supply coordination between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and operations.
- Handle day-to-day purchasing of consumables, including quote requests, order follow-up, and risk identification in supply lines.
- Approve supplier invoices, complete goods receipting, and manage dispatch of goods to offshore and project sites.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors to certify equipment prior to mobilisation.

**Project & Offshore Support**
- Support mobilisations for offshore operations across Southeast Asia.
- **Plan and organise complicated large equipment lifts and loadouts**, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Marshall and prepare equipment for shipping; supervise third-party contractors during loadouts.
- Maintain adequate stocks of loadout consumables (e.g., pallets, straps, rigging) to support mobilisation schedules.
- Liaise with offshore DLCs regarding mobilisation, receivals, and returns of equipment and tooling.
- Track and record hire equipment time entries and utilisation.

**System & Process Improvement**
- Lead initiatives to improve materials and logistics processes and systems to reduce cost, increase efficiency, and enhance accuracy.
- Maintain registers and documentation for all logistics, project assets, and procured items.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to align procurement with schedule and operational needs.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Interface with Project Managers (PMs), Project Engineers (PEs), and Senior Project Managers (SPMs) to coordinate manning, tooling, and material requirements.
- Ensure timely and clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

**About You**
- Proven materials and logistics experience in the **Oil & Gas, Mining and/or Resources industry**.
- Experienced in **post-award contract management**, including expediting, logistics coordination, variation management, contractor correspondence, and payment evaluations.
- Competent in the **Microsoft Office Suite**, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- **Dangerous Goods transport and handling qualifications** (essential).
- **Advanced Rigging and Forklift tickets** (essential).
- High level of **attention to detail and accuracy**.
- A commitment to **promoting a safe, HSE-compliant working culture**.
- **Excellent written and verbal communication** skills, with strong interpersonal capability.
- Able to **plan and execute complex lifts and offshore loadouts** with precision and compliance.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Driving licence is required as there will be an occasional requirement to load and unload equipment from ICON’s hardstand in Oldbury.
