**The opportunity**

We have a high-performing urban and regional planning and environmental science team in Queensland, and we’re growing With a growing portfolio of exciting infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, we’re looking for **experienced planners from Senior through to Principal level** to join us.

You’ll help drive the future-ready planning and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects, as well as renewable energy, pumped hydro, landfill and resource recovery, and property projects. You’ll collaborate with engineers and technical specialists on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, helping to shape Queensland’s infrastructure and communities.

We highly value experience in strategic and land use planning, energy infrastructure and major infrastructure programs.

We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment with the option to work from any of our Southeast Queensland offices (**Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast**) and remotely up to two days per week.

**What you’ll do**

Depending on your experience level, you will:

- Lead or support the delivery of planning projects, coordinating project teams and contributing to multi-disciplinary outcomes
- Work closely with clients and regulators, providing timely and practical advice
- Help grow the business through proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
- Collaborate across teams to deliver impactful outcomes for communities

Some of the key projects we’ve recently been involved in:

- Planning Scheme Review - engaging with councils and stakeholders to analyse and improve water and waste outcomes
- Water Utility Infrastructure - delivering research, planning assessments, and approvals for major water utilities
- Business Cases - assessing project options to inform strategic investment decisions
- Corridor Assessments - identifying and analysing planning and environmental constraints and opportunities
- Environmental Assessments - delivering EIA documentation and coordinating technical specialists on complex infrastructure projects

**About you**

You're passionate about creating vibrant spaces where people live, work, and play, and you want to contribute to Queensland's next generation of infrastructure and energy projects.

With 2 to 10+ years of experience in urban, regional, or infrastructure planning, you thrive in multidisciplinary environments and enjoy collaborating with diverse clients.

Your background might be in consulting, government, property, energy, or Defence.

You’ll also bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in planning, with eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia
- Strong working knowledge of Queensland planning legislation and policy directions
- Project management or coordination experience
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
- Consulting experience
