We're looking for a Project Specialist with strong experience in control systems and technology (networking, comms). Previous BHP experience is an advantage or similar roles in other miners or Oil & Gas. This is a reasonably large renewables project so would offer a great path for anyone looking to work in this growing industry.

We are working with one of Australia's largest miners who are experiencing a period of growth within WA's resource sectors. A new requirement has arisen for a Project Specialist (aka Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, Project Engineer) to join a collaborative team environment for a predominately Perth-based role.

**About the role**

We're looking for a Project Specialist with strong experience in control systems and technology (networking, comms). Previous BHP experience is an advantage or similar roles in other miners or Oil & Gas.

This is a reasonably large renewables project so would offer a great path for anyone looking to work in this growing industry.

Reporting directly to the Project Lead, your duties will include:

- A proactive safety focus in execution work.
- Management of a project area.
- Engage and manage consultants and contractors as required to perform the project.
- Directly assist the Delivery Lead with project reporting, management of schedule and cost control.
- Manage company supplied equipment packages.
- Ensure quality requirements are met.
- Previous Project delivery experience within a mining/heavy industry environment
- Previous BHP (or similar) experience
- Previous exposure to communications & electrical projects
- Previous control systems project experience
- Previous networks & communications project
- Positive attitude to learn & strong focus on details
- Previous exposure with SAP
- Strong operational and process discipline
- High level administration
- Ability to follow instructions & deliver remotely
