Our client is a long established, family owned medical device business with locations along the east coast and are experiencing a sustained and rapid growth. They assemble, manufacture and distribute in multiple sites as well as providing a spare parts and maintenance function.

**About the role**:

- Work with the GM to establish process
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Responsible for the supply chain management
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices
- Provide leadership and build a team
- Manage the smooth flow of goods in to and out of the warehouse network

**About you**:

- Proven experience in international freight movement and cost management
- Understanding of LEAN principles
- Commercial and Financial acumen
- Demonstrate planning and process improvements
- People management
- Work with PM's to ensure on site deliveries
- Overseen a warehouse operation.
