This approach has allowed them to evolve other operations, distribution network and their technology capabilities to support their customers Australia wide. - Due to their rapid growth this position has come about and they are looking for a like minded individual to join them on the road to success and be valued and respected at the same time. - If you are successful, you will be rewarded with a challenging role that offers a rare level of autonomy to get the job done. - Reporting to the NSW State Manager, your varied role will include: - Managing transportation by ensuring all orders for goods required by customers are processed into our Transport Management System so that freight can be arranged and booked to meet lead times - Liaising with our client and their on-site management: Customer is our No.1 priority - Liaising with dealerships re deliveries and transport issues/delays - Liaison and working with the 3PL warehouse and transport providers (including our own fleet) - follow-up and resolution of issues - Investigate and report on all significant issues impacting business performance such as late and failed deliveries, picking inaccuracies, damages, returns and customer non-conformances - Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities and working with the NSW State Manager and our internal team to review and implement - Serving as on-site support to 3PL warehouse with regards to packaging of goods and presentation of orders to transport carriers- Be self-motivated, with an ability to work steadily and systematically and without direct supervision to see tasks through to completion - Have the ability to prioritize issues and be a good listener and questioner - Have an excellent working knowledge of domestic logistics - warehousing and transportation - and how to create win-win outcomes. - Be totally committed to Continuous Improvement and follow-through - Have excellent client stakeholder, supplier management and communication skills - Be results orientated with a positive attitude and a strong customer service focus. - Have minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing and distribution environments This is really a great opportunity for someone who likes a challenge, wants to be a part of a warm and cohesive team of individuals who know how to have fun and work hard at the same time.
