Chess Electrics provides electrical and refrigeration services to the mining, oil and gas industries. Carrying out maintenance, shutdowns and major projects throughout Queensland.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- End to end recruitment conducting all aspects of the recruitment process such as recruiting employees, vetting of employees and preparing them to be site ready.
- Collaboration with office and site based teams to ensure seamless on-boarding and mobilisation as per individual site requirements;
- Schedule/book medical appointments and D&A Tests
- Maintain/book training courses and refresher courses
- Ongoing maintenance of Chess Electrics employee records and training database;
- Maintain/monitor employee qualifications, licenses and Coal Board Medical's
- Prepare new contracts, contract amendments
- Communicate recruitment status with management and site

**Skills, Attributes and Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years experience within a HR/recruitment role with the mining industry
- Onboarding and offboarding employees
- Employment contracts and awards
- Experience working for contracting companies within the mining sector;
- Experience with BMA, Glencore, Anglo Coal induction processes and requirements
- Experience booking Inductions, medicals and training
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Exceptional time management skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with Pronto
- Experience with Job adder
