**Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain**

**About the role**:
Reporting through to the Head of Procurement Optimisation, this role will assist the with the development of category strategies for:

- Freight
- Warehousing
- Other key supply chain categories

**Responsibilities**:

- Creation of category plans/strategies on key materials/services
- Support negotiations with key suppliers ensuring risks are identified/managed and value is maximized.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on cost improvement, category/material optimisation & spend reduction initiatives
- Facilitate supplier relationship program to ensure supplier performance
- Manage the contract process for the procurement team

**About you**:

- Minimum 2 years Procurement/Supply Chain experience
- Experience in a Food manufacturing or freight/logistics businesses required
- Degree in Business, Finance or Food Science desirable
- Relationship management expertise - behavioural flexibility to match different stakeholder styles
- Experience with Scanmarket or Kelvar desirable
- Familiarity with procurement sourcing platforms (any) desirable
- Analytical - ability to analyse deals and negotiations
- Proficient in excel
- Ability to drive and influence change
