**Procurement Specialist - Ingredients**

Goodman Fielder is seeking a **Procurement Specialist - Ingredients** to join our dynamic team and drive commercial value through strategic sourcing of food ingredients from both local and international suppliers.

This is a high-impact role that blends **category management**, **supplier relationship building**, and **cross-functional collaboration** to ensure our products are delivered with the right cost, quality, and risk profile-while unlocking future opportunities for innovation and growth.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- **Supplier Management**: Act as the key day to day contact for local ingredient suppliers managing relationships, following up on supply issues, and ensuring smooth delivery on business requirements.
- **_Contract & Documentation Support:_**_ Maintain accurate supplier agreements, compliance records, and other documentation to ensure all information is current and accessible._
- **Cost Savings Initiatives**:Own and deliver on project based work, identifying and executing cost savings opportunities to bring value to the overall business**.**:

- **Cross Cross Functional Collaboration**:Work closely with R&D, Planning, finance, marketing, and quality to coordinate supplier informaiton and support projects requiring ingredients inputs.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Prepare supplier performance reports, category data, and insights to support business reviews and procurement decision-making.
- **Process & Compliance**: Ensure procurement processes are followed, support audits, and contribute to improving efficiency in supplier and contract management
- **Team Support**: Provide reliable and organised support to the procurement team, taking ownership of administrative tasks and contributing to smooth supplier management across the business.

**What You'll Bring**
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles (ideally in food ingredients or FMCG).
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing supplier relationships and small projects.
- A degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
