**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
Developing, implementing action and following through on initiatives aimed at:
1. Increasing Franchise Owner profitability
2. Promoting the Lenard’s brand
3. Protecting the Lenard’s brand
Ultimately, this role as with all support roles within the NSO team is responsible for ongoing development of
FO/SM skills and knowledge leading to the achievement of:
- Delivering quality training outcomes
- Living the Lenard’s system
- Providing value and quality for service
- Upholding the values of the organisation and ‘living the vision’
- Delivering on Lenard’s strategic plan:

Wages 16%
GP 55% or 63% (whole bird)
I.P.D 1.95
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
This role’s key responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, improving Franchise Owner profitability through provision of quality coaching and mentoring programs for Franchise Owners and their teams. Areas of focus include:
1. Driving Sales Growth in every store to achieve set targets agreed to by the Business Coach and
Franchise Owner

3. Visiting all stores, within your designated region biannually, or as request by your line manager
4. Contact with stores within your designated region with a minimum of fortnightly frequency
5. Ensuring Franchise Owners compliance with Lenard’s Standards of Operations and complete in store audit annually once a year.
6. Coaching Franchise Owners (FO) to improved performance across agreed KPI’s. Build a professional working relationship with your FO to ensure that problems are resolved promptly and you cohesively work together to achieve strong profitability and sales growth
7. Delivering effective and timely feedback on outstanding issues from previous visits and on financial performance, to ensure a consistent approach and to drive improvement across your region
8. Positively drive all Marketing and Innovation promotions, ensuring that franchisees are compliant at all times
9. Engaging with FO and Marketing Manager to implement local store marketing initiatives
10. Ensuring Franchise Owners compliance with legislative requirements
**GROSS PROFIT**
As part of Lenard’s profitability model, successful Gross Profit management has an immediate and positive effect on Franchise Owners businesses. Specific responsibilities in the area of gross profit include:
1. Assisting Franchise Owners to meet the GP% target through:
Analysis
Feedback
Coaching
2. Developing individual action plans to meet agreed GP% targets
**Maximising Existing Customers**
As part of Lenard’s profitability model, Maximising Existing Customers has an immediate and positive effect on Franchise Owners businesses. Specific responsibilities in the area of maximising existing customers include:
1. Assisting Franchise Owners achieve a minimum IPD of 1.75 through:
- Analysis
- Feedback
- Coaching
2. Developing individual action plans to meet agreed IPD targets
3. Maintaining a Business Unit minimum, average IPD of 1.95
**Customer Growth**
As part of Lenard’s profitability model, Customer Growth has an immediate and positive effect on Franchise
Owners businesses. Specific responsibilities in the area of maximising existing customers include:
1. Assisting Franchise Owners achieve customer growth
- Analysis
- Feedback
- Coaching
2. Developing individual action plans to meet agreed
**Training**
This involves the delivery of training to benefit Franchise Owner and store staff, and monitoring of completion of online training provided through The Hatchery. Specific responsibilities in the area of training include:
1. Delivery of Franchise Owner Training modules
2. Effective supervision and scheduling of Active Retail IPD and Customer programs
3. Ensuring 90% Hatchery module completion including:
Online training
Certificates of Competency
**Customer Service**
This involves ensuring that Lenard’s high standards of customer service are maintained in all stores in the
Business Unit. Specific responsibilities in the area of customer service include:
1. Providing detailed feedback to your FO
2. Coach FO and staff on selling skills
3. Working with the FO or store presentation with a focus on product display
**Business Development**
Assisting and developing Franchise Owners’ businesses and self-confidence to grow their business. Specific responsibilities in the area of business development include:
1. Facilitating completion of annual business plans
2. Facilitating completion of bi-annual (six monthly) business plan review
3. Providing bi-annual (six monthly) business plan feedback to franchise owners through
**Compliance**
The Business Coach is responsible for ensuring the compliance of Franchise Owners and store staff with
