WA SportsMed is looking for an experienced Exercise Physiologist/Strength Coach to join it's team with a focus on delivering supervised exercise sessions for patients and clients of our brand new high performance facility.

Our mission is to provide sports and exercise expertise gained in the elite environment to clients of all backgrounds. We can bring this expertise to the community creating a high performance environment for any patient with access to our fully equipped gym and pilates studio.

We have an excellent team of practitioners who are all working with elite sporting organisations in WA including the Fremantle Dockers, WAIS, Aus Rowing, West Coast Eagles and East Perth Football Club. Our clinic has a collaborative and supportive environment in a central location with a high priority on professional development and client service.

This role would entail promotion of health and performance services as an Exercise Physiologist or Strength & Conditioning Coach to clients of all abilities.  This would entail running supervised fitness and health classes as well as 1 on 1 training and health appraisals.

The ideal candidate must be focused on providing best practice care, be willing to collaborate with other professionals, drive business growth and be an excellent communicator.  For the right person there will be scope to grow into our network of affiliations should they perform well. Remuneration details and other pertinent information to be discussed.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline and professional body registration
  • Experience with sport preferred
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Availability in early AM's and PM's
  • Medicare provider number

Opportunities are available for both casual and part time employment depending on the candidate.
