**About the Role**

The General Manager - Operations is a pivotal role, responsible for increasing efficiencies of time, quality and cost to our valued clients.

In this role, you will:

- Liaise with the GM - Sales, the Executive team and stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure all projects are completed on time and are of excellent quality and within the agreed budget
- Work with senior management to create systems and processes to guarantee cost and timeline efficiencies as well as ensuring optimal reporting practices using the current system simPRO
- Create periodic reports pertaining to clients and prepare weekly snapshots and action plans for the executive team and monthly reports for the Board
- Manage all contractors and ensure schedules, restorations, emergencies and maintenance are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure worker productivity and compliance are maintained in line with building and safety codes
- Communicate with clients regularly and work towards ensuring work is completed of the highest quality in a timely manner
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risk by finding solutions to get projects back on track
- Lead regular review meetings with the senior management team and key stakeholders
- Work on continuously improving systems and inefficiencies and keep abreast with the latest technology

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience working in a senior operational management role
- A background in Electrical or Civil Engineering, Project Management and Architecture is desirable as is experience in the working in the building management services area
- Experienced in working at different levels of organisations with building managers, consultants, architects, fabricators and specifiers
- Experience using SimPRO would be ideal
- Bring a dynamic growth mindset to drive the company forward
- Advanced communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent problem-solving, time management and organisational skills
