
Food Service Channel Manager

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We’re on the hunt for a talented Foodservice Channel Manager who is ambitious and determined to make people smile. The successful applicant will manage a team of territory managers working across foodservice/HORECA. You will be responsible for managing all of our large distributors across Australia and working with your team to delegate distributor relationship management of the smaller distributors.
You’ll be at the heart of taking an already thriving channel and working with all our key customers to accelerate the growth and brand love of Minor Figures in Australia. You’ll be supporting your team to build their own customer relationships, becoming the go to person for advice and inspiration.
**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
At Minor Figures, we don't box people in. Everyone is different and every day is different. We want people to display their passions and talents as often as possible. Sure, for the Food Service Channel Manager role, we have duties below, but you're not going to be limited to them. We'd rather you were free to make this your own.
- Manage a network of distribution partners, ensuring that the brand is well represented with the best-in-class route to market.
- Develop strong relationships with roaster partners to keep MF at the heart of the coffee community.
- Develop and implement joint business plans with key distribution partners to stimulate growth.
- Lead strategic planning and execution for the channel.
- Manage a team of territory managers.
- Seek new opportunities for Minor Figures to be seen and sold in the right places making sure you identify, win and nurture the accounts setting them up for success.
- Accurately forecast and execute the business plans to deliver strong growth.
- Be constantly aware of what is performing well in the channel / wider market and where the opportunities for growth for Minor Figures lie.
- Embody and positively promote Minor Figures mission, values and brand.
**ABOUT YOUR TEAM**:
Reporting into the Head of Sales (APAC), Miranda, you will be a key part of the APAC sales team, managing a team of territory managers across Australia.
You will be closely working with our APAC sales. Marketing & operations teams. We might be a small team but we truly believe in our product and know how to speak the language of coffee. We like to build lasting relationships within our team as well as with our customers.

- A Significant level of experience of working in sales in the food & beverage industry, across the Food Service channel in Aus.
- Leadership skills that support our energised and passionate team in their development and day to day management
- Commercial acumen to ensure we are competitive in the market whilst also maintaining profitability to do so.
- An ability to think strategically and devise plans for the strategy.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, sustainability and the Minor Figures brand.
- Adaptable to changes - able to see the big picture but with a pragmatic and flexible approach to delivery.
- Open and collaborative nature, developing and nurturing key internal and external partnerships.
