**Your new company**
A leading government agency invested in maintaining Australia's financial security is seeking an experienced APS6 Workforce Planning/Diversity & Inclusion officer for a 12 month term. Possible extension options.

**Your new role**
The Senior Advisor Strategic Workforce Development/D&I is responsible for supporting the design of strategies, frameworks and tools to support workforce planning and development across the employee lifecycle. The Senior Advisor will design and implement contemporary programs to support leadership and professional development, succession planning and performance improvement to assist the Agency reach its strategic objectives.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Develop and monitor an agency wide approach to increasing the diversity and inclusion profile of our people, providing high level advice to the business that supports our culture of people bringing their whole selves to work.
- Working closely with leaders across the business to coordinate the design and development of a range of capability development strategies and tools to support our staff and managers focus on strategic imperatives, continuous and just in time learning.
- Establish a strong understanding of internal operating environments and workforce data to identify emerging trends and opportunities to implement best practice initiatives.
- Develop meaningful analytics and regular reporting on workforce development activities using data to inform decisions, build business cases, support future planning and meet our compliance obligations.
